Artist Profile #15 - Diane Arbus

Diane Arbus was a portraiture photographer. In specific, she spent her time photographing dwarfs, giants, transgender people, nudists, and circus performers. She had many gigs, but she chose to spend her time photographing others who were interested, such as in World War II she got one of her first jobs. She had a rough life regarding relationships that eventually resulted in suicide. She used that passion to photograph others who were going through various struggles.
