Dorothea Lange

FSA was a group started around the same time as the new deal, during the great depression. The groups purpose was to shine light on poverty within the US, and the conditions farmers were in during the depression. The pushed for a rehabilitation program to help those in poverty and poor farm owners.

Lange was a woman who greatly influenced photography, and was even more notable as a woman. The depth of the photograph really makes the person feel like they are inside of the photo and makes the viewer feel more for whatever the picture is portraying.
