Inspiring Artist Research

For me, a super inspiring artist is Jack Johnson. He is a musician that has come super far by relating to the modern events happening in life. He started on his own without anyone taking him to fame. He was born in Hawaii and so started to play the guitar and create very chill island vibe music. Mostly, he made acoustic music, using just his voice and his guitar at first because that was all of the resources that he had. That inspired me because he did not have much but he still used that to create good music that became widely known. Before he started to create music, he focused on making surf films. He listed The Beatles, Hendrix, Nick Drake, and Marley as some of the people that influenced his musical style. After playing for a little while though, he began to create his own style. He also did not even start to play guitar until the age of 15, which is rather late given when his career began.
